A1 Type Protection Factor: It is used for organic gas and vapor with a boiling point higher than 65 degrees. It is marked in brown on the filter. The most used chemicals are Benzene, Ethyl acetate, Cyclohexane, Ethanol, Xylene and its isomers, Toluene, 4-methyl-2-pentanol, n Hexane, Isooctane.
B2 Type Protection Factor: Used for gases and vapors of inorganic chemicals. It is marked in gray on the filter. The most used chemicals in this group are Chlorine, Phosgene, Hydrogen sulfide, Hydrocyanic Acid.
